The apartment I moved into is like an older "warehouse" turned into apartments. It's rustic, cute and I love it---hardwood floors and perfect for me.
My one bitch? Nothing has really been updated except for cosmetic stuff, the floors, the walls and appliances. Which means, the plumbing is older than shit! When I first moved in I decided against getting bottled water, simply because it's expensive (I drink water like a fish) and the bottles aren't good for the environment. So I sucked it up and drank tap water...which was good until Friday night when I noticed things floating in the water. I'm pretty sure it was sediment and lead or whatever. So I went out and bought the Brita Slim Pitcher. Let me just say it's a blessing! My water tasted better last night and the coffee rocked this morning!
Go get the pitcher, it's inexpensive and better for the environment!

Luckily our water here is pretty good but when we lived in town I had to have a filter on the tap because the water was so nasty.
